Pet Wellness & Vaccinations

Your pets yearly immunizations are important because they boost the immune system to fight viruses and diseases such as Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella in dogs. Rabies, Leukemia, and FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calcivirus and Panleukopenia) prevent deadly cat disease. Additional vaccines are important to certain pets according to their lifestyles: Canine Influenza protects dogs who are exposed to other dogs, Leptospirosis protects pets exposed to standing water and Lyme protects dogs exposed to ticks. Our pre-paid pup and kit packages offer additional savings.

On-Site Lab

At Animal Health Services, Inc. we not only provide routine yearly exams & vaccinations but also are here for when your pet is sick. We are able to offer complete laboratory evaluation for your pet as well as radiology and ultrasound evaluation. We are able to perform many of your pet’s diagnostic testing here in the hospital so we can provide answers and diagnosis for your pet’s illness as soon as possible. We can then initiate treatment quickly and get your pet feeling better as soon as possible. We also recommend geriatric evaluations for pet’s older than 7-8 years so we can anticipate health issues in our older patients. This allows us to prevent illness and pain in our geriatric patients.

Imaging

In some cases, a physical exam is not enough for the doctor to determine the problem. Radiology assists in diagnosing internal problems.

Our digital radiograph system allows our Doctors immediate views and allows us to prepare effective health strategies based on the radiographic findings.

Dermatology

Animal Health Services, Inc. offers full Dermatology testing and treatments for all skin conditions. The skin is a major organ of the body that can reflect all aspects of general health. Pets can also develop skin problems (and ear infections) due to mange, bacterial infections, allergy issues and other inflammatory issues. Once the definite diagnosis is made for your pet, treatment is initiated. We recommend treatment progress exams every 2-4 weeks for all dermatology patients until the problem is resolved or controlled.
